This week started off very difficult for my family and I. My Grandpa Nick passed away on Sunday, it went a little faster than anyone had ever expected. Jon and I were able to be there at the hospital as he passed away. That was very hard, but on the other hand we feel very blessed we were able to be a part of that, the reason why is because I have not been close to my Grandpa in the past 20 years or so. He had only met Ashley when she was about 9 months old, but never met my other children up until 3 weeks ago, we had the opportunity to visit him in his home and at that time had no idea that 3 weeks later he would pass away. I am so grateful that he was able to meet my children before he passed, I guess it was devine intervention. The Lord knows how to make things happen the way they should. I will miss him, but I know I will see him again.
