Straight A's

                       ABC'S and 123's

I can not be more proud of my girls.  They both got straight A's on their report cards.  It makes me so happy to know that some how Jon and I instilled the love of school.  They both enjoy going to school, they miss it when they are out.  When I was done with Julia's conference we were walking home and this is what she said "Mom I love school, all the kids were so excited when we got out early but I wanted to stay longer."I hope this enthusiasm will last a lifetime.

Vacation 2010

This is the longest vacation our little family has ever taken.  It was a total of 10 days. We had such a great time together, I wish we could do this every summer.  Well maybe we can, you never know.

It all started in Panguitch Lake, Utah for the Ipson Family Reunion.
The Ipson's owned the land, they had a business in growing and selling Hay, when the water level rose they sold their business thinking that they couldn't make it there.  Only if they would have thought about the fishing business, we might all have some property in Utah

The Beautiful Canyon and Panguitch Lake

The waterfall is so beautiful.  It was quite a drive to reach it.  It was a very rough road, all the trucks did fine, but we were following the car that didn't do fine.  So we did our good deed for the day and picked up the four passengers in the car, good thing because one of them was the photographer that was supposed to get a professional picture of the waterfall.  We were a little cramped with 11 people in a 8 person vehicle, thank goodness it was on a old dirt road, no cops around :).  The kids loved it, we all had a good time, and we were able to meet some really great people.
There were so many wonderful creations to enjoy.

Beautiful Moon Light
Pictures of campfires are really hard to capture, Julia took this picture she did a great job.

We spent 3 days camping and meeting new family, and maybe we will get to do it again in 3 years.

Ryan found a big stick and said "it makes me look like a deer"

So of course Logan had to do the same

I wish we had some more pictures of extended family but we have not recieved them yet.  So here are some more pictures of the first leg of our trip.
The kids were making bird feeders with peanut butter and bird seed, it looks like Jessica and Julia got a little carried away.  Logan developed a great relationship with Theresa, she is in the picture below.

Jessica, Linda and the Girls, our guide on the tour of Panguitch Lake, and the kids watching cartoons at the church building.

We were able to spend a little time at the lake before our next leg of the trip  "Bryce Canyon". The kids were able to get there feet wet, make a castle in the sand.  Oh yea the dogs had a lot of fun too.

I enjoyed the time we spent here, with family that we have never met, and family we are very familiar with.  We made alot of memories that will last a life time.

Well on to Bryce Canyon, but I will save that for another day.

End of a School Year

Yeah, I know I'm a little late, but thats me.

Julia joined the White Rock Choir in 3rd grade, she loves to sing. I love to hear her sing :).  She sang with a large group of other students at Folsom Middle school.  She had a lot of fun.

Ashley's last music concert of 7th grade, she loves playing her saxophone, and clarinet.  She is very good at it, I might add.

A wonderful Awards ceremony for our straight A student.  She received awards for Academic Achievement in Science and another for maintaining a 4.0 for the 2009-2010 school year.

Now on to Graduations
My big boy Ryan Graduated from Preschool, when did he grow up?  His teacher was Mrs. Peggy, what a great teacher, we love her very much.

Disneyland 2010

Disneyland is such a magical place, full of laughter, wonder, and excitement.  On the first day there we were able to enter the park 1 hour before the gates opened. It was called Morning Madness.  It was so wonderful, it is the only time you can see main street empty.

To every one's surprise Mickey Mouse was the first Character we met.

We then went on to fantasyland where we got on every ride in under 5 minutes, it was great.  To every ones amazement Logan did not cry on any of the rides he had a great time, Everyone had a wonderful time riding the Famous Dumbo Ride, the Teacups and of course King Arthur's Carousel.

It's a small world is always fun, they have added alot of new Disney characters to the ride.  I loved seeing  the expressions on my children's faces, it is such a magical ride, it brings out the kid in everyone.
We love meeting the Characters.  When we met Woody and Jesse, Logan made the comment "where is Buzz"?  We then met Buzz later in Tomorrow land.  Ryan was trying to push Buzz's buttons, to make him do a karate chop and to make his laser work.  It was funny, he didn't quite understand why they weren't working.

Cruella Devill was a fun Character to meet, Logan and Ryan were definitely afraid of her.  We had the chance to meet Mary Poppins and Bert, again, Ashley was a little confused why they asked if they could sign the autograph book when the already had it in there hands, I told her it was because they are proper and polite.  We had our family picture taken with Mr Incredible and Frozone, right before we went in to see turtle talk with crush.  That is one of our favorite shows, Crush asks children questions, and the children get to ask Crush questions also.  Every time he calls on someone he gives them a special name.  Ryan was called on, and Crush named him Riptide Ryan.  Ryan asked how old he was, and crush told him 150 years old.  He was so excited.
The Fairies are Julia's favorite, we stood in line for 30 minutes, which gave us an opportunity to listen to our resident Fairy expert (Julia).  We didn't know she new so much about them.  She told us everything there is to know.  It brought out the five year old in her.  It was so much fun.
Jedi Training Academy
Ryan, Julia, and Jacob waited for an hour to be chosen for the Jedi Training Academy.  They left their Mickey Mouse ears on and all three of them were chosen.  The trainer said those 3 children with their special battle helmets on.  We were so excited.  They were trained to fight Darth Maul, and Darth Vader.  All three were chosen to fight Darth Maul.  When it was Ryan's turn he told them no, he wanted to fight Darth Vader.  He ended up being OK with Darth Maul, they all had a great time, and now are official padawans.
All the cousins had a great time together, one of the best times was picking their Mickey ears out together, you can now make your own Mickey ears.  You pick out the cap, then the ears, then a patch to put on it, and of course your name.

Grandma and Papa had a blast to, they love to see their Grandchildren have fun.  They enjoyed all the time they spent with everyone.
My Brother had a great time with his son's, I am so thankful he has the opportunity to spend as much time as he does with them. This was a great trip, and wonderful memories they shared together.

Overall we had a great time, we didn't want to ever leave.  So may memories were made, that we will remember for a lifetime.  I have so many pictures that I want to share, but I can't share them all, so here are a few more.  Thank you to my Family for such a great vacation.
