Vacation Part 2 Bryce Canyon 2010

What a beautiful and place to visit, I can't wait to go back again.  I said I would write about Bryce Canyon so here it is.
This is one of my favorite photos, the lone tree in the middle of magnificant rocks formations.

We had a great time in Bryce Canyon, we stayed in a camp ground called www.rubysinn.com/.  We were able to suprise the kids and stay in a Tipi, they were so excited.

There are so many beautiful rock formations, we couldn't believe the view.  Here are some of the many pictures that were taken.
Here are the Antelope, that we had the opportunity to view.

These Antelopes were right across the street from our Tipi.

I guess I should add some family pictures to show who was with us.  We had a great time with Richard, Linda, Roger, Lori, and Jess.

Let me tell you how hard it was to get Richard to stand near the edge to take a picture, he is afraid of heights, but he did a great job.

Some more pictures, that show how much fun we had

Some good old campfire fun :)

We had an awesome time, made alot of memories to last a life time.  The kids talk about going back and staying in the Tipi, that was a highlight.  Oops, I forgot to talk about our glow worm we found, I have no pictures of it but it glowed green on the end of it.  Julia and I found it when we were walking without a flash light.  Julia was scared to walk in the dark, but once we found the worm she forgot all about it.

Here are parting pictures, as you can see Logan did not want to leave. We are on out way to Salt Lake.

This is a storm we went through.

Next chapter coming soon

Straight A's

                       ABC'S and 123's

I can not be more proud of my girls.  They both got straight A's on their report cards.  It makes me so happy to know that some how Jon and I instilled the love of school.  They both enjoy going to school, they miss it when they are out.  When I was done with Julia's conference we were walking home and this is what she said "Mom I love school, all the kids were so excited when we got out early but I wanted to stay longer."I hope this enthusiasm will last a lifetime.

Vacation 2010

This is the longest vacation our little family has ever taken.  It was a total of 10 days. We had such a great time together, I wish we could do this every summer.  Well maybe we can, you never know.

It all started in Panguitch Lake, Utah for the Ipson Family Reunion.
The Ipson's owned the land, they had a business in growing and selling Hay, when the water level rose they sold their business thinking that they couldn't make it there.  Only if they would have thought about the fishing business, we might all have some property in Utah

The Beautiful Canyon and Panguitch Lake

The waterfall is so beautiful.  It was quite a drive to reach it.  It was a very rough road, all the trucks did fine, but we were following the car that didn't do fine.  So we did our good deed for the day and picked up the four passengers in the car, good thing because one of them was the photographer that was supposed to get a professional picture of the waterfall.  We were a little cramped with 11 people in a 8 person vehicle, thank goodness it was on a old dirt road, no cops around :).  The kids loved it, we all had a good time, and we were able to meet some really great people.
There were so many wonderful creations to enjoy.

Beautiful Moon Light
Pictures of campfires are really hard to capture, Julia took this picture she did a great job.

We spent 3 days camping and meeting new family, and maybe we will get to do it again in 3 years.

Ryan found a big stick and said "it makes me look like a deer"

So of course Logan had to do the same

I wish we had some more pictures of extended family but we have not recieved them yet.  So here are some more pictures of the first leg of our trip.
The kids were making bird feeders with peanut butter and bird seed, it looks like Jessica and Julia got a little carried away.  Logan developed a great relationship with Theresa, she is in the picture below.

Jessica, Linda and the Girls, our guide on the tour of Panguitch Lake, and the kids watching cartoons at the church building.

We were able to spend a little time at the lake before our next leg of the trip  "Bryce Canyon". The kids were able to get there feet wet, make a castle in the sand.  Oh yea the dogs had a lot of fun too.

I enjoyed the time we spent here, with family that we have never met, and family we are very familiar with.  We made alot of memories that will last a life time.

Well on to Bryce Canyon, but I will save that for another day.
